Located in the heart of Abbeville Louisiana, Black’s Oyster Bar and Seafood Restaurant was established in 1967, by Wilton “BLACK” Bourque and Rena Bourque. In 1989, Black’s Oyster Bar & Seafood moved a few doors down to its current location at 319 Pere Megret, Abbeville, LA. Black’s Oyster Bar & Seafood will once again open its doors and carry on the tradition built by Wilton and Rena Bourque, a tradition which is not taken lightly by new owner, Chance Thomas. Over the past several months, the building has undergone extensive renovations, and it is now ready to serve authentic Cajun cuisine and, of course, fresh Grand Isle oysters to its customers.

Black’s Oyster Bar & Seafood is about more than just a name.  Black’s Oyster Bar & Seafood is a tradition of gathering with friends, family, and strangers while enjoying a Grand Isle Salty Raw Oysters, Chargrilled Oysters, Fresh Seafood and Authentic Cajun Cuisine.
